Lawyers make successful claim for compensation for mesothelioma - Power Station Worker
Our industrial disease lawyers were instructed in May 2007 to pursue a claim for compensation for mesothelioma for Mr M who was born in 1928. Mr M had worked throughout all his working life except for national service in the power generating industry. He was exposed to asbestos between 1944 and 1971 when he worked in various different power stations including Acton Lane, Kings North and Battersea. In 1971 he moved to the power generating research lab and was no longer exposed to asbestos. In Spring 2007 he was diagnosed with mesothelioma. The mesothelioma claim was concluded for £140,000, during Mr M's lifetime, and just five months after we were instructed.
