Boyes Turner boosts industrial disease team with Shoosmiths hire
Boyes Turner has further strengthened its market leading industrial disease group with the hire of Richard Wargent from Shoosmiths solicitors in Basingstoke.
Having qualified as a solicitor with Irwin Mitchell in 1994, Wargent worked for Rowley Ashworth in London and then Shoosmiths in Reading as a claimant solicitor handling a wide range of industrial disease and personal injury work.
He joined Shoosmiths' Basingstoke office in 2002 and worked in their Serious Injury Unit handling a caseload of exclusively mid to high value multi track claims working exclusively for claimants.
Linda Fletcher who heads up the firm's Industrial Disease group said: "We are delighted to be joined by Richard whose strong track record and experience will be a real asset to our busy team. We are one of the most successful niche teams of our type in the UK and exceptional work levels have meant recruitment has been a high priority. The team has tripled in size over the last 12 months and will continue to expand."
