About the team
Linda Fletcher, Partner, leads the Industrial Disease team. Linda has wide experience in all areas of industrial disease work and is regarded as an expert by her peers. For the last eighteen years she has acted exclusively for claimants with industrial disease claims, including those arising from mesothelioma, asbestosis, pleural plaques, dermatitis, industrial asthma, occupational stress, work related upper limb disorder, industrial/occupational deafness, vibration white finger and other occupational disease matters.Linda has detailed knowledge of a wide range of occupations including:
- Electricians
- Shipyard workers
- Woodworkers
- Teachers
- Agricultural workers
- Construction workers
- Plumbers
- Engineers
- Banking employees
- Steel workers and printers
She qualified in 1988 and became a Partner in 1996. She was an equity partner at Lawfords for 6 years before leaving and joining Boyes Turner to establish Thames Valley's first and only specialist industrial disease team.
In the past year, the team has doubled in size. Linda has a reputation for dealing with clients in a supportive, compassionate and dedicated fashion, she has developed a national and international client base which includes clients from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Spain and South Africa.
She is a member of APIL and the International Bar Association.
