I joined Boyes Turner in 2010, to work in the industrial disease department, specialising in recovering compensation for victims of asbestos related diseases and their families. I act for claimants that have been diagnosed with mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis, pleural thickening and pleural plaques.
I am a member of The Law Society and of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
After obtaining a 2:1 Law degree at the University of Wolverhampton I completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law Chester. I then returned to the West Midlands where I worked as a paralegal specialising in personal injury. Since qualifying in 2006 I have worked solely in the field of claimant personal injury law, specialising in industrial disease claims and clinical negligence.
I enjoy relaxing with family, I love travelling, but need to do more, there is so much to see. I also enjoy live music and amateur photography. I regularly take part in charity fundraising events and have recently successfully completed the 3 Peaks Challenge raising money for the Debbie Fund. I also participated in the 2011 Reading Half Marathon raising money for the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund.
